Take a Stroll with Your Rabbit in a Stroller!

The Walk

I went on a walk with my bunny, it was somewhere in the 60’s degrees F and a cloudy day so it was cool and perfect for a relaxing walk with my pet bunny Smores. I went about an hour and 30 mins before sunset to give myself time to really enjoy the fresh air with my bunny. I put her in her pet harness and attached the leash just in case she was going to jump out of the stroller, as Smores is a fearless adventurer. I could tell that she wasn’t going to hop out after a few minutes and from owning her for over 4 years, I know she hates her harness. So I took her harness off and this made her much more comfortable. I live in a nice gated community and becuase people have nice cars here, many of the drive ways have low entry points. This caused a dip every few seconds on the side walk and made it so most of the time the stroller was slanted on the sidewalk. This was not comfortable for my dwarf rabbit so I eventually just moved onto the street which is smooth and paved. This is also a residential suburb with not too many cars passing by, so I would only recommend walking on the street itself on a non-busy street for not only your safety but your rabbit’s as well.

I had just been out and gotten myself some Boba and this fit fine in my stroller’s cup holder, though it was a little loose. I actually ended up spilling my drink when I was going from the curb to the road, otherwise it was a smooth ride with my stroller. I was definitely inspired by the Lennon The Bunny YouTube channel to get this stroller, and I actually bought it over a year ago. I will write a full review for the stroller eventually, till then check out this cute short video of my time with my bunny in the Ibiyaya 5- in 1 pet stroller.

Overall I do like this stroller and would recommend it for any sized bunny, for my dwarf bun she has lots of room. It’s not super robust so I wouldn’t take it on any rough terrain. You can buy it on Amazon + it’s other colors here: https://amzn.to/4245k8A

This is the harness and leash I use comes in 6 colors: https://amzn.to/3Wz9ww3
